Common S3nse runs September 4–5, 2026 at De Hallen Studio in Amsterdam. Previously known as ETHDam, the two-day conference and hackathon takes place during Cypherpunk Week and focuses on privacy, security, DeFi, decentralization, and freedom tech.
The event is built for privacy engineers, security researchers, cryptographers, philosophers, cypherpunks, and builders working on tools that help people stay in control of their data. The program includes a main stage, second stage, networking area, hackathon partner booths, and an official after party.
The hackathon gives builders a way to join the conference for free. Hackers build online during the week before Common S3nse, polish their project, and present it live on stage in Amsterdam.
Common S3nse also includes Best Pearls, a curated showcase for projects, ideas, and builders working on privacy, security, decentralization, and freedom tech.
Featured speakers include Ameen Soleimani from Privacy Pools / 0xbow, Sal the Agorist, Danny Sanders from Trezor, and Kieran Mesquita from RAILGUN.
Guest tickets cost €130. A Common S3nse + DashCon combo ticket costs €200. Student tickets cost €15 for students currently studying at a university or hogeschool. Hacker access is free through the hackathon application. The Buoy company/community bundle costs €5,000 and includes 10 tickets, logo placement, and banner visibility.
