This Privacy Policy explains how Web3Voyager collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use web3voyager.com, subscribe to communications, submit or promote an event, or contact us.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Web3Voyager is an independent event-discovery platform operated personally by Camilo. Web3Voyager is not currently operated by a registered company.
Contact email: hello@web3voyager.com
Postal address: [ADD YOUR POSTAL ADDRESS IN PAYLOAD BEFORE PUBLISHING].
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Newsletter information, such as your email address and subscription preferences.
- Contact and enquiry information, such as your name, email address, visitor type, message, and any event you select in a form.
- Event-submission information, including organizer contact details, event details, locations, links, descriptions, logos, images, and other materials you provide.
- Promotion and business information, including your organization, campaign enquiry, correspondence, proposal details, and service requirements.
- Billing and record-keeping information needed for contracts, invoices, accounting, and legal compliance. Web3Voyager does not provide a public website checkout and does not collect payment-card details through the website.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and content-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, referring page, diagnostic data, and security signals. Cloudflare Turnstile also processes technical signals when you submit protected forms to distinguish people from abusive automated traffic.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are optional. If you accept analytics, they may process device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, visited pages, referrals, clicks, navigation, session duration, and interaction or session-recording data. Optional analytics remain denied unless you accept them.
Event information from public sources
Web3Voyager aggregates event information from organizers and public sources such as official event websites, ticketing pages, announcements, and organizer-owned social accounts. Public event facts are used to operate and maintain the directory. Organizers and attendees can request corrections through our contact page.
3. Why we use information and our legal bases
- To operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access — based on our legitimate interests in providing a safe and reliable service.
- To respond to enquiries, review submissions, prepare proposals, and provide requested promotional or personalized-event services — to take requested pre-contract steps, perform an agreement, or pursue our legitimate interests in responding to you.
- To publish, organize, update, promote, and correct event listings — based on our legitimate interests in operating an accurate event-discovery directory and, where applicable, the permissions supplied by organizers.
- To send newsletters and optional marketing communications — based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — based on your consent.
- To maintain invoices, accounting records, and other records required by law — to comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and analytics choices
Essential storage and technical processes are used to operate the website, secure forms, remember your analytics choice, and provide requested features. Optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity processing is denied by default.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are activated. If you reject analytics, they remain denied and accessible first-party Google analytics cookies are removed. Web3Voyager stores the choice for up to six months. Under the current interface, a rejected visitor is asked again after subsequent page navigation. You can accept, reject, or withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.
5. Service providers and recipients
We use providers that process information to help us operate Web3Voyager, including:
- Hostinger for application hosting and related infrastructure.
- Supabase for the PostgreSQL database used by Payload CMS.
- Cloudflare R2 for media storage and Cloudflare Turnstile for form security.
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Maps for tag delivery, optional analytics, and map features.
- Microsoft Clarity for optional website analytics and interaction insights.
- Mailchimp for newsletter subscriptions, delivery, and campaign engagement.
- Our configured email provider for transactional messages and internal notifications.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy documentation and may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers are handled using the provider’s applicable contractual or legal safeguards.
6. When information is shared
We may share information:
- With service providers acting for us and only as needed to provide their services.
- With event organizers when you intentionally use an organizer’s registration, ticketing, or external contact service. Your interaction with that third party is governed by its policies.
- When required by law, legal process, or a competent authority.
- When reasonably necessary to protect Web3Voyager, our users, organizers, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or legal claims.
- In connection with a future transfer of the project or its assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Retention
- Analytics consent choices: up to six months.
- Google Analytics user and event data: up to 14 months, subject to the configured Google setting.
- Microsoft Clarity recordings: up to 30 days; heatmap and click data: up to 13 months, subject to Microsoft’s service operation.

Limited copies may remain temporarily in provider backups, security logs, or email systems until their normal deletion cycles complete.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority in your country.
To make a request, email hello@web3voyager.com. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.
10. Children
Web3Voyager is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
11. Third-party websites and event services
Web3Voyager links to organizer websites, ticketing providers, registration services, social networks, maps, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are their responsibility. Web3Voyager does not sell event tickets or manage registrations, cancellations, or refunds.
12. Automated decisions
Web3Voyager does not currently use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised Last updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
14. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@web3voyager.com.
