XRP Ledger Hackathon runs October 24–25, 2026 in New York. Hosted by XRPL Commons, the 36-hour hackathon focuses on building and launching projects on the XRP Ledger during the weekend before Swell.
The hackathon has four tracks. Protocol Innovation is for teams working on ledger-level improvements, amendments, client implementations, and tooling. Agentic Finance focuses on infrastructure for autonomous agents that can transact onchain. Lending & Borrowing centers on the XRP Ledger Lending Protocol and Single Asset Vaults. Why Not is an open track for other XRPL-based ideas.
Teams can also bring an existing project and use the hackathon to add XRPL rails or ship a new feature. Only work completed during the 36-hour sprint counts toward judging.
The hackathon is aimed at developers, protocol engineers, founders, and builders working with XRPL, DeFi, agentic finance, lending infrastructure, or onchain applications.
